Confirmation

Our Confirmation program is an educational ministry, in partnership with parents, for youth in grades 7 and 8. We have three goals:

1. Learning the Christian tradition
2. Developing relationships
3. Growing as disciples.

The pastor is the lead teacher, assisted by additional coordinators and small group guides. We gather on Wednesdays from 5:30—7:00 p.m. We have fun, learn in an interactive environment, and spend time in small groups each week. We alternate between a year on the Bible and a year on Luther’s Small Catechism (10 Commandments, Apostles’ Creed. Lord’s Prayer, etc.) Students also write worship notes; serve as acolytes, greeters, Communion servers, and nursery attendants; and participate in other fellowship and service events.
