Sunday SchoolFirst English has Sunday School classes for children ages 4 through grade 6 September through May, starting with a Rally Day celebration worship and church picnic. Students and parents gather for the beginning of worship at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays, and after 10-15 minutes of singing and a children’s message, children and their teachers go to their Sunday School classrooms. Classes are team-taught. This year we are learning about our “Treasures in Jesus”. In addition to classes, the Sunday School collects offerings for special mission projects and has a music-filled Christmas Program and, new this year, an Easter Program.
The 2011-2012 YearGod Loves All the Fish in the Sea as Much as Me! Above is the theme for Sunday School this year. We are hoping to have a lot of fun with the aquatic overtone! The school year kicks off with Rally Day Sunday September 18th. Volunteers from Lutherdale will be at the 9:15am service to sing songs and get the whole family excited about the year. Following the service will be a picnic in Starin Park at 10:30am. There will be food, fun and games for all Sunday School children and their families. All are welcome! We hope to see you there!
