This committee shall be concerned about the social needs of the community and the world and to work with members on all social concerns.
Responsibilities include:

  • Whitewater Food Pantry
  • Lutheran World Relief drive
  • Recycling issues
  • Selection of monthly cause concerns
  • Meals on Wheels for the month of May
  • Skaalen Home (Christmas gifts)
  • CROP Walk
  • Next Door Foundation (Books for Kids)
  • Funds for sending layettes
  • Sponsor a social hour for Heart Prairie Oil Lamp Service
  • Ministerial Association Christmas Dinner
  • Hunger in the World Awareness
  • Keep the congregation informed through newsletter articles
  • Submit an annual budget and an annual report
