Women of the ELCA

All women in the congregation are part of the Women of the ELCA.  They volunteer their time and talents in many ways throughout the year. Their biggest event of the year is the Harvest Family Fun Fair in the fall, to raise funds for specific ministries locally and globally, and to build a sense of community. Other projects include making baby care kits, personal care kits, school kits, and quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Three Women’s Bible Study circles meet monthly. The women make prayer shawls, collect “Pennies for Poverty,” and serve at funerals. The women serve at many church events and promote fellowship and service year-round.
